But yeah, the line “Man I ain’t changed, but I know I ain’t the same” is from their most famous song, titled “One Headlight”. So, you’ve already got great taste there. I’d suggest the album Bringing Down the Horse, since that song is on it. It may be tough not just playing that song over and over at first (because it’s the first song) but the whole album is a poetic masterpiece. Actually, you’ll find that many of Jakob/Wallflowers songs are just so beautifully written.
If you dig that album I’d recommend his solo Women+Country. It’s got that sort of feel to it with the steel pedal and all, and again a beautiful album from beginning to end. Those would be great starting points.
